Patient rights and responsibilities

Information and guidance for our patients
We want you to have as much information as possible about the care you'll receive in our hospital and what to expect before, during and after your time with us.
Admissions to our facility
You can be admitted to our facility directly or after evaluation at another hospital or emergency room. Our admissions process begins with a scheduled behavioral assessment done by a licensed professional. This assessment will look at your medical and psychiatric history, symptoms, the care you are currently receiving and any drug or alcohol use.
With this information, our team then determines the most appropriate level of care for you. That care may include inpatient or outpatient treatment, as well as a combination of individual counseling, group therapy or medications. Your treatment plan will include recommendations for types of therapy, milestones to achieve and what continuing care you need.
Even when you are not admitted, we can provide assessments and recommendations for appropriate educational programs or other resources in the community.
